Software Engineer - System Integration Specialist

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan

  • Developers must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3 Years experience of PHP Frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, CakePHP).
  • At least 3 Years experience of Handling REST API Integrations.
  • 2+ Years experience of handling Enterprise Grade MySQL Database, Advanced MySQL queries, and database optimization.
  • Single-page JS Frameworks (ExtJs, ReactJs, NativeJs, VueJs) with minimum 2 Years dedicated or combined experience.
  • Hands-on Experience with Linux.
  • Hands-on Experience with Git & SVN Subversion.
  • Experience with JIRA & Confluence.
Preferred Skillset

Highly preferred candidates will have demonstrable experience in ExtJs, high volume Analytical Dashboards, Microsoft Graph API, Single Sign-On (SSO) Integrated Applications, ServiceNow, MDM Platforms Airwatch & Intune, five different REST API Integration Implementations, Telecom Industry Data, and Product Development.

Quality Control

Ensuring programming quality standards are implemented and object-oriented approach is used for all development tasks.

  1. Programming frameworks are utilized as specified by the vendor to make sure frameworks can be upgraded easily as newer versions are released. Framework documentation and guidelines are followed.
  2. Use of reusable components compared to writing everything from scratch and re-inventing the wheel.
  3. Solutions provided are scalable and flexible to manage future changes and improvements.
  4. Large tasks are managed in small demo-able steps to allow early-stage wise releases if applicable.
  5. Any updates to existing application areas don't compromise or affect any existing functionality.
  6. Functionality is tested in UAT environment and related signoffs/approvals are acquired before any production deployments.
  7. Any new deployments don't affect any mission-critical systems.
  8. Security protocols and recommendations are followed to avoid any security breaches.
  9. Systems are upgraded frequently as newer versions are available.
  10. Customer Data is handled with due diligence.
  11. Performance, security, and availability of mission-critical systems.
  12. Error reporting and related checks are added to timely log issues and trigger warnings if the system is not performing as expected.
  13. Compliance to VoicePlus Privacy, Confidentiality, Intellectual Property, Internet Usage, and Security Policies.
  14. Code commenting at line/method/class level to ensure code is understandable.
  15. Each iteration or update is tracked via SVN Revisions.
