Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will oversee the efficient management of facilities across Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore, ensuring optimal functioning of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire, and security alarm systems, as well as Data Center Critical UPS and Precise Cooling System.

In addition to facility operations, the successful applicant will manage multiple large capital projects, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to ensure compliance with building standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance Coordination: Schedule regular maintenance activities with impacted personnel to minimize downtime.
  2. Downtime Planning: Plan scheduled downtime for preventive maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  3. Emergency Repairs: Schedule emergency repairs during downtime when necessary, prioritizing urgent issues.
  4. Status Reporting: Prepare weekly status reports detailing ongoing projects and progress.
  5. Special Projects: Coordinate special projects with stakeholders and vendors to ensure building compliance.
  6. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with seniors, peers, and subordinates.
  7. Bid Analysis: Conduct detailed bid analysis for high-value, multi-year projects.
  8. Study Initiatives: Initiate, assist, and analyze studies in response to health and safety audits.
  9. Work Order Management: Manage and close Facility Helpdesk Requests through IBM RESO Tool and oversee work orders on Maximo.
  10. Data Center Maintenance: Be responsible for the Data Center Crack Unit and UPS Maintenance.
  11. Reporting: Prepare monthly, weekly, and ticket closure reports, including RCA Reports for Data Center related issues.
  12. Preventive Maintenance: Establish programs for preventive maintenance, liaising with contractors and suppliers, and managing maintenance issues.
  13. Ongoing Support: Provide support to ongoing projects whenever and wherever required.
  14. Procurement: Procure monthly cleaning and hygiene consumables, MEP consumables, and spares for fixed contracts.
  15. Variation Proposals: Manage and submit proposals to clients for all variation jobs.
