
Regional Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will oversee and expand sales operations in a specified region for a portfolio of finishing products, including ready-mix decorative plaster, brick joint compounds, tile adhesive, tile grout, wall putty, skim coat, and related items. This role entails managing distributors, conducting project-based sales, engaging contractors, and achieving regional sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategize and execute sales initiatives to drive growth in the assigned region by promoting finishing products to builders, contractors, and retailers.
- IDentify, appoint, and manage distributors, dealers, and sub-dealers within the region to ensure efficient product distribution.
- BUILD and maintain strong B2B relationships with architects, consultants, interior designers, and project engineers to foster long-term business partnerships.
- Visit project sites to conduct product demonstrations, resolve technical issues, and guarantee correct application methods.
- Train and support sales representatives, distributors, and applicators on product knowledge and application techniques to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and pricing strategies; provide insightful feedback to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective planning, execution, and analysis.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan local promotional events, exhibitions, and brand visibility campaigns that drive engagement and sales.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and proper documentation from clients and distributors to maintain financial discipline and accountability.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Possess 10-12 years of experience in sales of construction or finishing materials, with a proven track record of success.
- Develop and maintain a robust dealer/distributor network in the assigned region to facilitate seamless product distribution.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of site application methods and product performance standards to provide expert guidance and support.
- Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and motivate teams.
- Be willing to travel frequently within the region to meet with customers, partners, and team members.
- Prior experience with project-based B2B selling in residential, commercial, or infrastructure segments would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with interior finishing contractors and fit-out consultants could be advantageous in building relationships and driving sales.
