Job Overview

Lead a team to establish and maintain an integrated, dynamic, and high-quality talent & services platform across various locations. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and evolve the platform into a market-leading Distributed Workforce talent & services platform, meeting strategic, digital, and operational requirements.

Responsible for building consensus, alignment, and driving impact through influence in matrix environments. Identify opportunities, challenges, and risks associated with Remote Working and MGN, ensuring the platform becomes a source of strategic strength for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for MGN Pakistan build-out and Remote Working in Pakistan.
  • Provide thought leadership and identify co-ordinate strategic level opportunities, challenges, and risks associated with Remote Working and MGN.
  • Lead the MGN Pakistan platform, working closely with People & International Capital Group stakeholders to ensure local PICG teams operate effectively.
  • Ensure local MGN Technology support teams operate effectively, meeting local requirements and aligned with group policies, practices, and organisational models.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Affairs Group stakeholders to ensure local MGN Finance & Admin teams operate effectively, meeting local requirements and fully aligned with group policies, practices, and organisational models.
  • Manage budgeting, financial control, chargeback, and cost & MIS reporting for MGN Pakistan.
  • Work with Risk Management & Compliance Group stakeholders to proactively identify and drive appropriate MGN Risk Management & Compliance strategies and practices.
  • Develop recommendations relating to common requirements of Mashreq's Distributed Workforce MGN operating model.
  • Implement initiatives to optimise costs & efficiency across MGN.
  • Drive Mashreq's CSR efforts internally through increased staff volunteering and externally through non-profit partnerships.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A post-graduation in Business Management or Chartered Accountancy.
  • 18+ years of experience in leading and driving growth of offshore / shared services setups.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing legal entities and related local regulatory requirements including labour laws.
  • Excellent program management, analytical / problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in leading multi-regional initiatives.
