Job Description

Salesforce Commerce Cloud, a leading e-commerce platform, requires an experienced Quality Analyst with expertise in functional testing and API testing.

This role involves designing and developing test strategies, test plans, and testing approaches for products. The ideal candidate will create, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases for functional, manual, or web-based applications across various platforms.

The Quality Analyst will detect, report, and follow up on defects to ensure resolution. They will participate in scrum calls with customers and internal stakeholders, understand application architecture, develop test cases, and perform functional and regression testing based on user stories.

This position ensures testing activities meet business requirements and identifies potential issues. The analyst will report issues with reproducible steps, screenshots, and relevant details.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test strategies, test plans, and testing approaches for products.
  • Create, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases for functional, manual, or web-based applications.
  • Detect, report, and follow up on defects to ensure resolution.
  • Participate in scrum calls with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Understand application architecture, develop test cases, and perform functional and regression testing based on user stories.
  • Ensure testing activities meet business requirements and identify potential issues.
  • Report issues with reproducible steps, screenshots, and relevant details.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in functional or manual testing concepts.
  • At least three years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Prior experience in the Retail domain.
  • Proficiency in API testing, AWS technologies, and front-end web testing for e-commerce websites.
  • Experience with Jira, TestRail, and agile methodologies, system integration testing, and end-to-end testing is required.
  • Development experience and knowledge of automation tools are a plus.
  • Understanding of order flows in e-commerce systems and marketplace integration is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CCP (Cart and Checkout) - Ecom Cart and Checkout flows.
  • Experience in running promotions and campaigns related to QA.
  • Strong skills in test planning, bug tracking, test execution, and stakeholder communication.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills are essential.
