Full-stack Lead Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Full-stack Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in building custom applications using the latest web technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate functional requirements into well-engineered code that complies with accepted industry standards.
  • Own assigned user stories with minimal supervision.
  • Guide junior team members on development standards and good design practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest constructive changes.
  • Manage priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems) OR 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with Full-stack Application Development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Hands-on experience in full-stack development along with experience on building user interfaces using technologies like Angular / React JS and other necessary web technologies.
  • Exposure in building cloud-native software preferably with AWS.
  • Exposure in designing and developing data models using RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Exposure in building solutions using Apache Solr or Elastic search.
