Enterprise Data Administrator Position

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Data Administrator to manage and support our customer's large-scale data processing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cloudera administration, with working knowledge of ETL processes. This role involves ensuring the performance, availability, and reliability of the Cloudera platform, as well as collaborating closely with data engineering teams.

  • Administer Cloudera platform (CDH/CDP), including cluster configuration, tuning, and resource management.
  • Monitor platform health, perform capacity planning, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
  • Oversee and optimize ETL job execution in coordination with Informatica-based workflows.
  • Ensure platform availability and reliability by managing high-availability setups and disaster recovery configurations.
  • Support data operations, governance, and compliance processes within the data analytics environment.
  • Implement operational best practices and contribute to automation of recurring tasks.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience in Cloudera Administration (CDH/CDP).
  • Strong understanding of Hadoop ecosystem components.
  • Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting within Cloudera environments.
  • Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL orchestration tools.
  • Proficient in Linux systems and shell scripting for automation.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of data pipeline and operations support processes.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
  • Familiarity with databases like Teradata is a plus.
