Release of Information Unit Leader

We are seeking an experienced Release of Information Supervisor to lead our team and ensure efficient daily operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the Health Information Management Services system.
Responsibilities will include supervising unit activities, conducting regular meetings, and addressing any issues that may arise.
Liaising with other departments and collaborating with the ISD will be essential in optimizing system performance and resolving conflicts.
During public holidays, strikes, and emergencies, the supervisor will be responsible for managing staff to ensure adequate coverage.
Duty rosters and attendance records will be meticulously maintained to guarantee adequate staff presence.
The supervisor will evaluate quality performance against established metrics, ensuring adherence to predefined standards.
Release of medical information to external clients will be a key responsibility, adhering to HIMS guidelines.
The role also involves assisting staff in preparing for JCIA and ISO training, conducting evaluations, and providing continuous performance feedback.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in the field
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Advanced knowledge of the Health Information Management Services system
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
