We are seeking a seasoned Financial Leader with extensive experience in the construction or infrastructure sector to oversee end-to-end financial operations and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the overall financial and accounting functions of multiple construction projects, ensuring seamless execution and strategic planning, as well as fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Oversee project-wise costing, budgeting, and variance analysis, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making and driving business outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management information systems (MIS) reports, and project profitability reports, while maintaining effective cash flow management and fund allocation.
  • Manage statutory compliances, including tax laws and regulations, and collaborate with external consultants and auditors to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a high level of governance.
  • Handle contractor/vendor billing, reconciliation, and BOQ-linked accounting, maintaining effective cash flow management and fund allocation, as well as promoting efficient working capital utilization.
  • Drive monthly closing of books, finalization of accounts, and assist in internal/external audits, upholding the highest standards of financial governance and control.
  • Develop and implement internal financial controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for finance and accounting functions, promoting efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and forecast cash flows, manage working capital utilization, and coordinate with project teams, procurement, and senior management for strategic financial inputs and decision support.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Candidate must be CMA Inter or ACCA qualified, demonstrating strong technical expertise and proficiency in accounting standards and practices.
  • Proven hands-on experience in construction project accounting, work-in-progress (WIP), and contract management, coupled with in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations applicable to the construction industry.
  • Excellent command over MS DYNAMICS used in construction accounting, as well as high proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and MIS reporting, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and cross-functional coordination capabilities, with a proven track record of driving results-oriented teams and achieving organizational objectives.
