
Strategic Business Growth Director

The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing our organization in Pakistan and globally, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Represent the Organization: Engage in discussions about technology strategy and operations in Pakistan and globally on behalf of the organization.
- New Business Opportunities: Identify and attain sole representations with foreign companies for various products and services, ensuring a reasonable sale of these products in Pakistan.
- Product Launch: Strategize and execute the launch of products and services on behalf of the organization.
- Patent Filing: File patents for these products on behalf of the organization.
- Client Database Management: Ensure the management of the client database for the organization.
- Event Management: Manage and plan events such as conferences, trainings, seminars, etc. for the organization.
- Business Development: Maintain rigorous business development and ensure continuous availability of business opportunities.
- Tender Filing: File tenders and bid for projects on behalf of the organization.
- Sourcing: Find sources of sourcing for the organization to achieve its deliverables.
- Documentation: Maintain complete documentation of the organization including business models, feasibilities, policies, and contracts, etc.
- Business Case Development: Develop or oversee the creation of a business case for each technology project, including benefits, costs, resources, and risks.
- Team Guidance: Provide high-level direction and guidance to the team on the service line's overall strategic needs.
- Tool Development: Work with senior client-serving professionals to develop the necessary features and functions of a tool to satisfy business needs.
- Project Scope Review: Review the scope of each project to confirm the value that justifies the cost incurred.
- Feedback Loop: Work closely with and obtain feedback from the clients and the team to monitor the way tools are used and identify necessary improvements.
- Support Model Building: Oversee the building of support models that provide end-users with assistance in using tools.
- Budget Monitoring: Regularly adjust the department's resources to meet the ongoing and changing needs of the business and monitor the budget, implementing numerous cost/benefit analyses.
- Operational Issues: Guide service line leaders and executive sponsors of tools on the most appropriate ways to handle operational issues with tools and help them identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
- Risk Assessment: Continuously evaluate operating problems with tools, make final decisions on appropriate courses of action to minimize inconvenience to external clients and to optimize tool performance, and escalate to stakeholders any issues that pose a significant risk to the organization.
- Status Reports: Provide ongoing status/management reports to the line manager.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Experience of leading and motivating a virtual team of technology and product management specialists desirable.
- Skill Set: Demonstrated skills and experience in managing complex projects involving business, financial, and technical risk.
- Communication: English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication.
- Relationship Building: Ability to communicate intricate issues in a simple but accurate manner and competent at building collaborative relationships with senior leaders.
- Multitasking: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
- Problem-Solving: A solution-oriented approach, with the confidence to develop and recommend options within tight time frames.
- Evaluation: Adept at evaluating the fit of potential tools licensed from third-party vendors.
Additional Duties:
The successful candidate will also be involved in researching organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets, planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives, attending conferences, meetings, and industry events, preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays, contacting clients to inform them about new developments in our products, developing quotes and proposals, negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person, developing sales goals for the team, training personnel, and helping team members develop their skills.
