About Estate Planning Attorneys

We are seeking an experienced estate planning attorney to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a JD from an accredited law school, a current license to practice law in the State of Alabama, and at least three years of prior experience in estate planning. Candidates with three years of legal experience not specific to estate planning will be considered but compensation will be negotiable.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients, put them at ease, have sensitive conversations about their family and other issues, advise them on estate planning options.
  • Presentation of estate planning strategies to clients that address their needs in a language that non-lawyers can understand.
  • Preparation of estate planning documents, review and explanation of the documents to clients.
  • Continual learning of new developments and refinement of skills in modern estate planning strategies and tactics.
  • Learning the firm's current processes and procedures, adaptation to new ways of accomplishing goals.
  • Collaboration with the team to continually improve and develop processes and procedures.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A self-starter who addresses team and client needs in a quick and successful manner.
  • A positive attitude, driven to learn, grow, and treat others with respect and professionalism.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize deadlines.
  • Proficient at using a computer (tech-savvy) and knowledge of computer programs such as saving documents in folders, typing, Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and case management software.
