Production Planner

We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing organization-level data in an ERP environment and possess a strong understanding of supply chain processes.

About the Role

The Production Planner will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and uniformity of vendor, customer, product, payment data, costs, valuations, and production planning objects within SAP/Oracle systems. This includes releasing production plans for all sales orders as per the MPS schedule and managing activities to ensure timely completion of tasks by different departments.

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Create and maintain production schedules, considering lead times, production capacities, and resource constraints.
  • Collaborate with production teams to create accurate schedules based on capacity, resource availability, and production capacity.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Production Planner will oversee production operations, monitor timelines to meet customer expectations, manage inspection checklists for safety and quality control in the production process, analyze and assess inventory levels to optimize stock levels, and support key change projects in central Master Data structure design and implementation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as CS, IT, Data Analytics, Finance, BA, or Supply Chain.
  • Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in managing Organization level data/System data in an ERP environment and experience managing Procurement Ops or SCM.
  • Understanding Data Management principles, frameworks, best practices, Manufacturing Ops, and a holistic view of Supply Chain processes.

  • High level of attention to detail and organization to work with complex data sets.
  • Proficiency with Excel and ERPs.
Additional Skills

Good to have: ERP certifications such as SAP Implementation Associate, Oracle, or Master Data Management Certifications. Good to have: Experience with Advanced Excel tools such as VBA/Macros.
