Job Title: Supply Chain Associate

About the Role:

The Supply Chain Associate plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless flow of goods, services and information within the organization. This role is crucial in facilitating efficient supply chain operations and contributing to business growth.

  • Procurement Support: Assist in preparing purchase orders, tracking order status, communicating with suppliers regarding deliveries and discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies and support efforts to optimize warehouse space and stock rotation.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders for inbound and outbound shipments, prepare shipping documentation and track movement of goods to ensure timely delivery.
  • Vendor Relations: Maintain effective communication with vendors, assist in evaluating vendor performance and support resolution of any supply-related issues.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze and report on supply chain data including inventory levels, delivery performance and cost metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to existing supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of all supply chain activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
  • 1-3 years experience in a supply chain, logistics or operations role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (for data analysis and reporting).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
