Job Title: Research Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team as a Research Instructor. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for research and a strong academic background in Public Health.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for actively engaging in research, particularly on climate change, environmental, and occupational health & injuries. They will also be involved in designing, implementing, evaluating, and monitoring activities related to the brick kiln intervention study in the field (province of Sindh). Additionally, they will develop proposals for extramural funding and independent research programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing research studies related to climate change, environmental, and occupational health & injuries
  • Developing proposals for extramural funding and independent research programs
  • Writing articles independently on assigned projects and pursuing publication in professional journals
  • Participating in research studies with senior colleagues and co-authoring research papers with supervisors and/or other faculty members
Requirements:
  • Masters or equivalent degree in Public Health or other health professional degree
  • Demonstrated professional accomplishment and evidence of successful performance in research in Public Health Related discipline particularly climate change environmental and occupational health
  • Good skills & knowledge & practices in Climate change, environmental and occupational health & Injuries
  • Experience in carrying out field-based public health research studies and readiness to undertake field-based operations
