Job Title: Hindko Interpreter

We are currently recruiting for Hindko interpreters and translators to work within various settings such as healthcare, legal, educational, immigration & refugee services, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original language, then reproducing the speech into the target language with 100% accuracy.
  • Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services.
  • Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence.
  • Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting.
  • Dealing with highly confidential information.
  • Liaise between the service user and service provider.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English or another language.
  • BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL.
  • Any other interpreting related qualification.
  • Must hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
  • You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond.
  • You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
