Job Opportunity: Language Bridge Professional

We are seeking a skilled interpreter and translator to bridge language gaps in critical public service environments. The successful candidate will work with various clients across different sectors, including healthcare, legal, education, and immigration.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services
  • Verify understanding after each sentence
  • Provide conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
  • Handle highly confidential information
  • Liaise between the service user and provider

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English or another language
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field
  • Any relevant interpreting qualification
  • Must hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
  • Willingness to sign and agree to a surety bond
  • Willingness to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement
