Responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services">
  • Ensuring non-English speakers understand after each sentence">
  • Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting">
  • Handling confidential information">
  • Liaising between service users and providers">

Requirements:

• Fluent English or another language

">

• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, ELT, or TESOL

">

• Any other interpreting-related qualification

">

• IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest

">

• Must sign and agree to a surety bond and Non-Disclosure Agreement

">
