Job Description

We are seeking a strategic leader to drive the growth and development of our insurance digital platform.

This role will oversee the end-to-end insurance product lifecycle, from design and compliance to customer experience and financial performance.

The ideal candidate will bring industry expertise, innovation, and leadership to drive our insurance offerings, ensuring they are accessible, customer-centric, and competitive in the market.

Working cross-functionally with technology, legal, operations, and marketing teams, this position requires strong business acumen, a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, and a passion for leveraging digital technologies to transform the insurance landscape.

  1. Develop and execute the long-term strategy for insurance business, ensuring alignment with the overall business roadmap.
  2. Identify new insurance verticals, customer segments, and trends to drive future product innovations.
  3. Represent Digital Insurance Platform in regulatory, industry, and partner forums to promote digital insurance innovation.
  4. Lead the design and structuring of a full suite of digital insurance products, ensuring competitive pricing, risk management, and customer appeal.
  5. Collaborate with actuarial teams and insurance partners to guide underwriting strategies and risk management.
  6. Own the P&L for the digital insurance portfolio, monitoring KPIs such as acquisition, conversion, claims ratio, and profitability.
  7. Set and monitor growth targets, driving campaign strategies and partnerships to enhance market presence.
  8. Establish ROI-driven frameworks for digital campaigns, cross-sell initiatives, and loyalty programs.
  9. Build and manage strong relationships with insurers, brokers, reinsurers, TPAs, and tech vendors, negotiating contracts and revenue-sharing models.
  10. Develop scalable embedded insurance models within Digital Ecosystem and other partner platforms.
  11. Engage with Regulators to shape the insurance regulatory environment and ensure compliance.
  12. Ensure all insurance products and operations adhere to local regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards.
  13. Oversee the development of the digital insurance platform, driving automation, personalization, and real-time integrations.
  14. Lead the integration of insurer APIs, AI/ML-driven claims engines, and backend systems for enhanced efficiency.
  15. Champion AI-driven initiatives for fraud detection, claims automation, and personalized policy recommendations within the platform.
  16. Steer end-to-end user journey design across all platforms (web, app, USSD), optimizing for accessibility, insurance literacy, and first-time users.
