Senior Infrastructure Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled infrastructure developer to design and implement scalable infrastructure for production and test environments. The successful candidate will work closely with developers to understand and properly design deployments and monitoring across different teams.

The ideal candidate will lay out guidelines and infrastructure for all developers and teams to use on their projects. They will ensure the code follows latest coding practices and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design high availability infrastructure for production and test environments.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth deployments and monitoring of applications.
  • Lay out infrastructure guidelines and best practices for development teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with infrastructure and applications.
  • Champion efficient solutions and avoid pitfalls through challenge and feedback.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in software development or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in senior roles.
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet.
  • Proficient in Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and containerized deployments using Docker.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and setting up infrastructure on Amazon AWS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Pingdom, Datadog, Sysdig.
  • Knowledge of Java programming is an added plus.
