Quality Assurance and Technical Support Trainee Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance and Technical Support Trainee Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance and technical support.

About the Role

This is a trainee position designed for individuals who want to learn and grow within our organization. As a Quality Assurance and Technical Support Trainee Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to assist in ensuring the high quality of our software products.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in testing and validating software releases to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Provide technical support to customers through various communication channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and report defects.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Fresh graduate or less than one year of experience in software quality assurance or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of computer science concepts, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of testing principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills

The following skills would be advantageous in this role:

  • Script programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Linux command-line interface.
  • Containerization using Docker.
  • Cruise control tools (e.g., Jenkins).
