Strategic Associate Role

In this strategic associate position, you will play a key role in providing expert guidance and support to client-serving engagement teams to optimize their use of processes and tools for effective project management with external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet regularly with the regional service line team to conduct oversight and analytics processes to identify and prioritize partners/engagement teams requiring outreach from the SL advisor
  • Provide expert guidance on local policy and leading practices
  • Develop and facilitate training programs for client-serving teams on best practices and effective financial management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and expertise with other team members across borders, service lines, and industries, leveraging leading practices
  • Coach and problem-solve with more junior advisors to help develop their skills through job shadowing, advising, and informal training
  • Review open items in ticketing systems, prioritize follow-up activities, and schedule engagement team meetings for the week
Support Client Servers
  • Review pricing plans and strategies
  • Advise on service line leverage targets and opportunities
  • Ensure engagement teams are properly prepared for client negotiations from a financial perspective
  • Advise on how to select the correct client entity for opportunities and projects
  • Explain downstream impacts of different user choices required by processes and tools
  • Provide instruction and guidance on estimate to complete (ETC) processes and corresponding financial implications
Analytic And Decision-Making Responsibilities
  • Use strong analytical skills to determine the partners/engagement teams in need of outreach and maintain a strong relationship with the regional SL team
  • Make informed decisions to ensure timely and accurate responses to client servers, escalating when needed to the appropriate functional expert
