About the RoleThe Platform Engineer role within our ServiceNow platform team is critical in ensuring we derive full value from the platform and align with overall company goals.
Key responsibilities include participating in managing the ServiceNow platform tooling, providing technical leadership, contributing to platform strategy, collaborating with teams, and driving strategic platform areas such as platform health, compliance, integrations, CSDM, CMDB, data, access, and tooling policies.
Responsibilities- Manage the ServiceNow platform tooling, adhering to processes and controls like ITIL, GxP, EPM, GDPR.
- Provide technical leadership of the ServiceNow platform, including automations and integrations, to ensure tools remain fit for use.
- Contribute to Reckitt's platform strategy to leverage platform features and entitlements.
- Collaborate with platform teams, process owners, and product owners to enable the platform roadmap.
- Review existing setups and recommend best practices, ensuring implementation stays close to Out of Box solutions.
- Drive strategic platform areas such as platform health, compliance, integrations, CSDM, CMDB, data, access, and tooling policies.
- 6+ years of experience with ServiceNow, including deep functional and technical expertise, scripting, and integrations.
- 5+ years of ServiceNow experience in architecture, design, and solutions, including Service Portal and mobile apps.
- Hands-on scripting experience in ServiceNow.
- Advanced knowledge of modules like Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Knowledge, Integrations, Performance Analytics.
- Experience in designing and architecting ITSM, CMDB, and integrations.
- Experience with additional product lines (ITOM, ITAM, SPM) is advantageous.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of ITIL processes; practical knowledge of ITIL4 is an advantage.
