Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced technical support administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing systems administration support, troubleshooting and resolving local area network and personal computer issues.

This role involves working closely with the Client System Technicians (CSTs) and other base agencies to ensure seamless operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, experience with network equipment, and excellent communication skills.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • System Administration Support: Providing technical assistance to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving network connectivity issues, configuring network settings, and ensuring smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
  • Client Support Services: Providing tier 1 support to resolve administrative and technical concerns with client/server devices, installing, configuring, and operating client/server devices.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to:

  • Provide OM&S of hardware and software
  • Assist and provide continuity to the communications squadron's automated data processing equipment (ADPE) custodian and equipment custodian (EC) officer

Qualifications:

  • IAT-II Certification
  • A+
  • MCSA-Windows 10 or newer

Required Skills and Experience:

To be considered for this role, you should have a high school diploma and 6-9 years of experience in system administration, network management, and technical support. You should also possess a valid secret clearance and have experience with IAT-II certification, A+, MCSA-Windows 10 or newer, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)- Core Infrastructure or Data Management and Analytics.
