
Senior Business Development Manager

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Study Group team in Pakistan, providing strategic direction and leadership in the country. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end agent business relationships, service experience, and in-market activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performance team with expertise in leading teams in a global matrix environment
- Develop and execute sales account plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and partners
- Collaborate with product sales and marketing to understand and identify market trends and opportunities for student recruitment
- Manage a strong partner network, ensuring adherence to SLAs to enhance customers' satisfaction
- Identify partner growth opportunities and risk profiles – active management
- Provide high-quality product and process training to agents
- Assist in the development and launch of new recruitment initiatives, products, or regional strategies
- Monitor competitor activity enabling greater market competitor awareness and analysis
- Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and academic teams to support student conversion and pre-arrival success
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior leadership
Requirements:
- Education industry experience is essential
- Fluency in English
- Proven experience in managing recruitment teams and delivering against enrolment targets
- B2B, Channel Sales or Partner Agent experience
- B2C experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
- Strategic account management
- Consultative selling methodology
- Data analysis
- Social selling e.g., LinkedIn or on other digital platforms
