Job Title: Information Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a communication plan aligned with project goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media content creation, digital marketing, or communications, with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. Prior work in non-profits, development, or WASH sectors is preferred.

In this role, you will engage with local and national media to increase project visibility, produce engaging content such as case studies, success stories, blogs, and social media posts, and design IEC/BCC materials in local languages for students, parents, and teachers.

You will also manage and grow the project's social media presence, develop content aligned with global observance days and project milestones, monitor performance, and adjust strategies for maximum reach and engagement.

Furthermore, you will capture field content through photos and videos during school visits, lead end-to-end video production, and create short-form and impactful visual content for storytelling.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu, knowledge of local languages is an asset. They will also possess strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills, capable of independent fieldwork and effective collaboration in diverse, multicultural settings.
