Job Overview:

This position is focused on designing and implementing Radio Access Network (RAN) infrastructure for telecommunications and IT products. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining RAN solutions for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.

  • Develop and execute plans for RAN deployments in Islamabad
  • Troubleshoot issues affecting LTE sites performance
  • Configure, maintain, and upgrade BSC6900, BSC6910, BTS3900, and DBSC3900 systems
  • Expand existing 2G, 3G, and 4G network footprint
  • Commission OMU/BAM/BSC9600/6910 equipment
  • Configure SDR (GUL) Sites and Swap
  • Re-parent BSC/RNC and LTE sites
  • Perform basic radio tuning for 2G, 3G, and LTE networks
  • Monitor network performance, analyze alarms, and report occurring faults
  • Expand bandwidth of LTE sites
  • Install and apply licenses
Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong background in Electrical & Electronic, Telecommunication, Computer Science or related fields. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in telecommunications for wireless integration is also required.

  • Proficient knowledge of 2G, 3G, and 4G integration, planning, and troubleshooting, preferably on Huawei equipment
  • Knowledge of wireless network architecture, site survey, and site design KCPs
  • Understanding of Huawei wireless and power hardware
  • Auto-Cad knowledge and experience in designing indoor and outdoor layouts
