Network Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of Telco & Non Telco infrastructure of our access network.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams for daily operations support to regional teams
  • Coordination with stakeholders at HQ and regional levels for process standardization and compliance
  • Development and maintenance of preventive and corrective maintenance processes, quality standards, SLAs, and KPIs for the Access Network
  • Identification and mitigation of operational gaps and weaknesses in access network performance and fault management
  • Post-deployment analysis of resources for network quality and cost targets
  • Spare parts inventory management related to the access network, identifying future requirements based on fault rates and current stock levels
  • Planning and execution of key CAPEX and OPEX projects critical to routine operations and network stability
  • Establishment of a clear responsibility matrix for outsourced operations, defining stakeholder roles and accountabilities
  • Implementation of maintenance and fault management processes for outsourced operations
  • Preparation of contingency plans for network emergencies and special events
  • End-to-end management of Managed Services vendors for uninterrupted and reliable operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Telecom Engineering from a recognized university is required
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in access network/field operations and vendor management
  • Generic skills: Analytical, Communication, Conflict resolution, Customer focus, Time management, Project management
  • Job specific skills: In-depth understanding of access network operations, field operations experience, DC & AC power solutions planning, contract & vendor management, NMS, RMS, OSS tools
