Production Planning Specialist

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a production planning specialist, responsible for creating and implementing short-term and finite capacity-constrained production plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in distribution operations, supply chain, or warehousing and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement production plans that ensure efficient use of resources and materials.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential production disruptions.
  3. Optimize replenishment plans for raw and packaging materials to meet production needs.
  4. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best prices and services.
  5. Conduct regular reviews of production performance to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders on ways to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • MBA or Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience in Distribution Operations, Supply Chain, or Warehousing.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and SAP
