Job Title: Regional Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our programs in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have experience with education in refugee communities and long-term programmatic growth. The position will report directly to the Home-Based Program Director.

Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing monitoring & evaluation systems, including quantitative and qualitative data collection.
  2. Capacity building for country NGO staff, including human resource development and community organizing.
  3. Cultivating relationships with local NGOs that align with our mission.
  4. Fostering collaboration between our Pakistan and Afghanistan programs and country NGOs.
  5. Facilitating annual visits from US staff and establishing effective communication linkages between our organizations.
  6. Creating an Annual Work Plan and an Annual Travel Plan at the beginning of the contract.

Requirements:

  • Pakistani or Afghan national based in their home country.
  • Graduate education in a reputable university.
  • Fluency in English, as well as fluency in either Urdu or Dari.
  • Ability to travel between Pakistan and Afghanistan and reside in these countries for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in all three languages: English, Urdu, and Dari.
  • Previous work experience in Pakistan with Afghan refugees.
  • Previous work experience in Afghanistan's northern provinces.
  • Connections with donor organizations and individuals in South Asia.
