Business Development and Sales Role
- This is a Business Development and Sales role within an IT Services and IT Consulting organization.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Business Development and Sales professional. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
As a Business Development and Sales professional, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our development team to understand client needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. You will also be responsible for managing existing relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach efforts.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also have a strong understanding of sales techniques and principles, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Research potential clients and industries, and develop strategies for pursuing new business opportunities.
- Build and Maintain Relationships with Clients: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and identify new business opportunities through research and networking.
- Contribute to the Growth and Success of the Organization: Work closely with the development team to understand client needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements, and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field;
- 0-1 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in software services or IT consulting;
- Ability to identify, research, and target potential clients and industries;
- Strong written communication skills to craft compelling, client-specific proposals;
- Knowledge of sales techniques to close deals and negotiate contracts effectively;
- Understanding of software development and project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, etc.);
- Familiarity with bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and similar marketplaces;
- Strong analytical skills to monitor market trends and adapt strategies accordingly;
- Collaborative mindset to work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to meet client needs effectively;
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
