Job Title: Senior Cost Estimator and Contract Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cost Estimator and Contract Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our construction project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement practices and develop effective procurement strategies.
  • Conduct detailed cost planning and control during all project stages, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare tender documentation and manage the tender process from start to finish.
  • Administer contracts and handle cost control during construction, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct final account settlements and reconcile project costs, providing transparent and accurate financial reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Professional certification (RICS or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in cost estimation and contract administration.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in estimation software packages such as CostX, Bluebeam, and PlanSwift, with experience in using these tools to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
