The role of the Portfolio Manager is a pivotal one in overseeing and monitoring the credit portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor the credit portfolio to ensure optimal risk mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and sectoral exposure analyses to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective actions in coordination with the Relationship and Credit teams to address early warning signals.
  • Support client due diligence and credit assessments by providing valuable insights into the credit portfolio.
  • Conduct stress testing of the credit portfolio to assess potential risks.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field is essential.
  • Preferably 4 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably with exposure to non-banking financial institutions.
  • A strong understanding of credit risk concepts, regulatory requirements, and portfolio management principles is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
  • A strong sense of accountability, integrity, flexibility, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity is vital.

This role demands a strong quantitative acumen, sectoral insight, and a solid understanding of credit risk dynamics across the banking landscape.
