Job Title: Portfolio Assistant

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Account Senior / Portfolio Assistant to join our dynamic and client-focused accountancy practice.

Our team delivers reliable, practical, and innovative financial solutions to small to mid-sized businesses across various industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, accounting standards, and internal quality controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting tasks for SME and sole trader clients, including preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax computations.
  • Liaise directly with clients on accounting and tax matters to provide high-quality accounting and advisory services.
  • Oversee client onboarding processes, including setup, risk assessment, and documentation completion.
  • Review the work of junior team members and offer constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Assist the Client Portfolio Manager with workflow management, planning, and client service improvements.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute actively to internal process improvements and client service innovations.
