Role Overview:

This full-time role is Riyadh-based and requires a finance professional to oversee all financial aspects of our smart schools project. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial planning and budgeting process for the smart schools initiative.

  • Oversee accounting, cash flow management and financial reporting.

  • Ensure all financial activities are compliant with local laws, donor requirements and accounting standards.

  • Provide financial reports to internal stakeholders, donors and partners, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with the Fundraising team to track grant funds, prepare financial reports for donors and manage financial aspects of fundraising campaigns.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and plan for the organization's financial future.

  • Assist in the annual audit process and ensure financial records are maintained according to best practices.

  • Monitor project expenditures, flag any variances, and work with the operations team to maintain budget discipline.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 4-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the education, non-profit, or social impact sector.

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Experience managing donor funds and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Experience working with external auditors and managing the audit process.
