Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key role in our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and support in human resource issues, ensuring the implementation of our strategy and operational plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strategic approach to human resource development and management to ensure effective implementation of our strategy and operational plans.
  • Develop appropriate human resource policies and standards in line with applicable laws, rules and legislation to ensure effective, fair and equitable management of staff throughout the organisation.
  • Ensure that HR issues are given full consideration in all decision making.
  • Uphold the Islamic values and principles within the human resources policies and lead by example.
  • Integrate our cornerstones into the human resources policies and practice where appropriate.
  • Ensure that managers and staff are aware of the policies and procedures and able to operate them effectively.
  • Provide support to managers on HR and organisation development issues.
  • Develop and implement a process of induction for staff, volunteers and trustees.
  • Develop, implement and manage a system of performance appraisal.
  • Manage the annual training and development plan and budget and ensure that all individual training plans are followed up.
  • Ensure that salaries and benefits are regularly reviewed and are in line with the market trends.
  • Provide support and advice as appropriate in disciplinary, grievance and other such matters.
  • Oversee the implementation of HR systems and record keeping and ensure follow up where necessary.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in human resource management, preferably in a senior role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
