Job Title: Research and Learning Manager

At Aahung, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our research and learning initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing ongoing research studies, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings.

  • Lead the development of research proposals, logical frameworks, and theories of change to inform program design and strategy.
  • Conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and synthesize findings to inform strategic learning and donor engagement.
  • Develop and refine data collection tools, ensure high-quality data management, and provide expertise on data visualization and reporting.
  • Represent Aahung at national and international research forums, conferences, and learning exchanges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and oversee ongoing research studies.
  • Conduct data analysis, and disseminate findings to inform program design and strategy.
  • Develop and refine data collection tools, and ensure high-quality data management.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Science, Public Health, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in research, monitoring, and evaluation, or academic research project/s on health, rights, gender, and sexuality.
  • Experience with IRB review process, publishing research findings, and conducting data collection.
  • Strong analytical background for both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Bilingual in spoken English and Urdu.
