Senior Product Manager

About the Role

We seek a visionary and deeply technical product leader to drive the strategic evolution of our core platform.

This pivotal leadership role sits at the intersection of business strategy and platform architecture, shaping the foundation that will power our growth into a global enterprise leader.

You will be responsible for defining what our next-generation platform architecture looks like, identifying, justifying, and leading strategic investments in our platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the product vision for the future of our platform, developing a long-term roadmap that aligns architectural investments with our company's strategic goals for enterprise and ecosystem growth.
  • Lead the discovery and analysis to determine the ROI of strategic platform initiatives, building data-driven cases to justify when and why we should invest in decoupling capabilities into modular, API-first services.
  • Where strategically necessary, lead the 0-to-1 product development for new, independent platform services (e.g., for Permissions, Identity, or Communications).
  • Champion a world-class, API-first culture, establishing the design standards and developer experience that will enable both internal teams and external partners to build on our platform.
  • Develop pragmatic, phased roadmaps that deliver incremental value and evolve our architecture without disrupting our existing business.
  • Act as the primary bridge between engineering, product, and business leadership, translating complex technical trade-offs into clear business implications and strategic recommendations.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 4+ years in a deeply technical, backend-focused platform or architectural role.
  • Proven success in leading strategic platform initiatives, experience building business cases for significant technical investments (e.g., build vs. buy, platform migrations, or launching major new services) and seeing them through to execution.
  • Expert-level understanding of API design, distributed systems, and the trade-offs of different architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven).
  • Exceptional business acumen, comfortable building a financial model for ROI as well as debating API design with a principal engineer.
  • A master of influence and stakeholder management, with the ability to create alignment from the engineering team to the C-suite.
