Energy Efficiency and Conservation Specialist Role

About the Position:

This key role will focus on raising awareness across all sectors about energy efficiency and conservation. The Communications and Media Expert will develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to sensitize stakeholders, standardize templates for internal and external communications, and promote energy-efficient practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement multifaceted communication plans to enhance public knowledge of energy-saving techniques and best practices.
  • Establish brand guidelines, institutional reporting standards, and review reports to ensure consistency in design elements and fonts.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions and organizations to create training programs, materials, and workshops focused on energy efficiency topics.
  • Coordinate media coverage for energy-related events and initiatives.
  • Enhance the organization's image through social media campaigns to increase visibility within the EE&C domain.
  • Design and execute nationwide Energy Efficiency and Conservation Awareness Campaigns, ensuring content is accessible in local languages for radio and television audiences.

For success in this position, a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or relevant field from an accredited university is required. A postgraduate qualification in a related discipline is preferred.

Based in Islamabad, this position requires at least four to six years of experience, including three years dedicated to energy efficiency initiatives. The duration of this position is six months.
