Job Title: Chief Gas Theft Investigator

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead investigations into gas theft cases in Gas Utility Court and High Court under the Gas Theft Control and Recovery Act 2016.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of evidence, prepare comprehensive prosecution reports, and coordinate with the prosecution team.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent gas theft and promote compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior investigators to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to best practices.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • LLB with at least 3 years of relevant experience and 1 year of bar enrolment.
  • LM qualification is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Gas Theft Control and Recovery Act 2016.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
