Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Leader

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Leader to join our organization. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety and environment policies and procedures that align with our organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health, safety and environment management, with experience in identifying, assessing and mitigating risks associated with workplace processes. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA and ISO standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health, safety and environment policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with workplace processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA and ISO standards.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate employees on health, safety and environment practices and protocols.
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
  • Plan and execute internal and external audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses to determine root causes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in health, safety and environment roles, preferably in manufacturing, oil and gas or similar industries.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent certifications.
  • Proficiency in health, safety and environment management systems, risk assessment tools and audit methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
