Senior Facility Management Role

This role involves overseeing the maintenance and operations of facilities, ensuring they are safe and well-functioning.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and projects. They will also possess excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Operations: Ensure facilities are safe and well-maintained, performing routine checks and addressing any issues promptly.
  2. Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
  3. Staff Management: Make staffing decisions and prepare employee performance appraisals, promoting a positive work environment.
  4. Problem-Solving: Develop and implement system solutions to problems through collaboration with subordinate employees and cross-functional teams.
  5. Leadership: Exercise strong leadership skills, promoting improvement initiatives in daily operations and driving team performance.
  6. Performance Tracking: Monitor and track performance to meet objectives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  7. Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, residents, and facilities staff, providing exceptional service and support.
  8. Policies and Procedures: Develop policies and guidelines for facility inspection, setup, maintenance, and repair, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Service Contracts: Manage and review service contracts, ensuring that they align with business needs and provide value.
  10. Oversight of Maintenance: Plan and direct facilities maintenance, repair, and project activities, ensuring that they are completed efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills, decision-making abilities, and the ability to manage teams and projects.
