Facilities Manager Position

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained, and meeting business needs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and projects. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Inspection: Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and ensure they are safe and well-maintained.
  2. Budget Planning: Assist in planning and managing budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
  3. Employee Development: Support employee development and performance management, including making staffing decisions and preparing performance appraisals.
  4. System Solutions: Collaborate with subordinate employees and cross-functional teams to develop and implement system solutions to problems.
  5. Leadership and Collaboration: Exercise strong leadership skills, promoting improvement initiatives in daily operations and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  6. Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor performance to meet objectives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  7. Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, residents, and facilities staff, providing exceptional service and support.
  8. Policies and Procedures: Establish policies and procedures for facility inspection, setup, maintenance, and repair, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Contract Management: Review and manage service contracts, ensuring they align with business needs and provide value.
  10. Maintenance Oversight: Direct and coordinate facilities maintenance, repair, and project activities, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage teams and projects.
