Clinical Research Coordinator Role

A Clinical Research Coordinator I position is available in an advanced MRI laboratory. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a principal investigator and be responsible for managing research studies within the laboratory.

The coordinator will pre-screen volunteers and patients, schedule and recruit participants, and perform administrative duties related to study protocol operations. They will assist in data management, ensuring security, access, and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities include coordinating study activities, recruiting and scheduling participants, acquiring MRI data, and positioning individuals in the MRI scanner. The individual will oversee experimental sessions and assist with basic neuroimaging data analysis.

The coordinator will work under general direction to coordinate research activities, perform regulatory tasks, monitor laboratory safety, and coordinate study visits and data analysis to meet goals and commitments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science required; fields such as psychology or neuroscience are desirable.
  • 0-1 year of relevant research experience preferred.
  • Skills include teamwork, judgment, protocol interpretation, organization, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, communication, attention to detail, and task prioritization.

Additional Responsibilities

The individual will handle ordering supplies, monitor invoices, and process subject remuneration.

Working Conditions

The work will be conducted in office spaces and MRI scanner bays, involving some physical activities.
