Materials Manager and Procurement Specialist

The Materials Manager and Procurement Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure local materials and raw/packaging components in a timely manner to meet business objectives.
  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Strategic Objectives:
  • Optimize procurement strategies to balance costs and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to guarantee consistent supply of materials.
  • Establish minimum order quantities (MOQ) for each supplier to optimize inventory levels.
Production Planning and Control:
  • Develop monthly production plans aligned with market forecasts and sales projections.
  • Coordinate delivery timetables and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers to prevent delays or losses.
Requirements:
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the [Supervising Department/Manager] and is responsible for driving business results through strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts.
