Job Title: Assistant Manager

This role requires an experienced and proactive individual to oversee the design, planning, and operational efficiency of data centers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering continuous improvement through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define data center operations by developing Change Management procedures, SOPs, and related tools in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare BOQs, layouts, technical documentation, and RFPs for data center projects.
  • Manage data centers to ensure vendors meet service level agreements as per contractual terms.
  • Develop and analyze energy-efficient solutions to minimize power losses.
  • Conduct site visits for engineering studies, electrical system audits, and startup testing.
  • Participate in Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures or power outages.
  • Provide instructions to vendors and installation contractors while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of all data center infrastructure, including power systems, cooling, fire alarms, and generators.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in data center or facility management.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, fire systems, and control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and inspire diverse teams.
  • Certifications such as CDCP (Certified Data Center Professional) or DCM (Data Center Management) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with power distribution, cooling systems, networking, and security will be advantageous.
