Job Summary:

This role requires an experienced IT Support Specialist to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT support and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain end-user devices, servers, network, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Manage and maintain the office network and communicate with internet providers to ensure stable and robust internet connections.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT infrastructure and security developments and recommend upgrades and improvements as necessary.
  • Manage Active Directory Users and Group Policy Objects.
  • Create and maintain documentation and asset databases.
  • Log all support and service requests and update tickets as necessary.
  • Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Asterisk and IP Telephony systems.
  • Create and manage file and folder sharing and permissions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Support with a focus on managing complex IT environments.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems, including network protocols, hardware, and storage.
  • Knowledge of network security concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection and prevention.
  • Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of administering Linux operating systems is a plus.
  • Must be flexible to work in rotation shifts and in a 24/7 operation.

Working Hours:

Rotational shifts, Monday to Saturday
