Vendor Surveillance Manager

This role is responsible for managing the vendor surveillance process, ensuring that vendors meet contractual obligations and deliver high-quality products and services.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (quality, procurement, project) to monitor vendor performance, production schedules, and quality control processes.

The manager will ensure that all vendor surveillance activities comply with client requirements and internal quality standards, maintaining up-to-date records of vendor evaluations, audits, and surveillance reports.

This role involves liaising with third-party inspectors and vendors to ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and delivery timelines, as well as tracking and reporting on vendor inspection activities, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor surveillance processes.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to monitor vendor performance.
  • Maintain vendor evaluation and surveillance records.
  • Liaise with third-party inspectors and vendors to ensure compliance.
  • Track and report on vendor inspection activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor surveillance, procurement, or quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor qualification, and contract compliance.
  • Familiarity with project execution cycles, particularly in EPC/EPCM environments.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
