Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering is required to apply for this role.

We have openings for 2 Software Quality Assurance Specialists at our Islamabad office.

We are looking for candidates with a keen analytical mindset and experience in technical writing, functional testing on web-based and smartphone applications.

The ideal candidate will be focused on documentation, functional, integration testing, and managing defect tracking throughout the software development life cycle.

You will work closely with product managers and developers to ensure all requirements related deliverables are clearly understood, documented, and necessary testing is completed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solid technical skills with an ability to document test cases, requirements & scripts for manual and automated testing.
  • Candidates should have proven analytical ability and strong communication skills including proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working in a dynamic environment, knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodology.
  • Knowledge of test-driven software development, extraction of features from user stories, preparation of test plans, and testing software programs & documentation.
  • Develop high-quality, detailed, and well-structured test cases from user stories.
  • Execution of test cases and reporting testing activity to the manager(s).
  • Work with application developers to fix any identified problems.
  • Working with product managers to gather business and functional requirements and documenting them.
  • Prepare and assist in providing meaningful reviews in the creation of error logs, bug reports, and recommend fixes for them.
  • Excellent skills in planning, control, scheduling, and launching of QA/QC activities during SDLC.
  • Conduct compatibility tests with other software programs, multiple operating systems & environments including smartphones.
  • Willingness and aptitude to work with various new infrastructure technologies as required.

This is a full-time position based in Islamabad, Pakistan.
