Job Overview:

The role of Network Configuration Specialist is to configure and maintain transport networks, including microwave, optical, IP, and FIX customers, in 24/7 shifts. This involves analyzing existing hardware, software, and networking systems, creating scalable networks according to client specifications, testing and troubleshooting installed systems, and resolving technical issues.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience with Juniper, Huawei, and Cisco equipment, including SRX, ASA, and Fortinet
  • Analyzing hardware, software, and networking systems for optimal performance
  • Designing and implementing scalable networks according to client requirements
  • Testing and troubleshooting installed systems to ensure they meet performance standards
  • Resolving technical issues with networks, hardware, and software
  • Performing speed and security tests on installed networks
  • Applying network security upgrades and patches
  • Upgrading or replacing hardware and software systems as needed
  • Providing proactive analysis and good troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of issues

Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in a related field
  • BS degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Electronics engineering
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and certification in IP protocols (JNCIP, CCNP, HCNP) are desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to promote the department and technology portfolio
