EHS Leader

About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate professional to lead our Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives.

• Lead Improvement Initiatives: Identify best practices to reduce work process risks and improve safe work practices, promoting a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization.
• Certification Management: Maintain certifications for management systems (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & 45001:2018) and ensure compliance with environmental protection regulations.
• HSE Performance Indicators: Develop, maintain, and report leading and lagging indicators to track site performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment of plant processes, and perform safety audits to identify potential hazards and lead cultural change in the factory.
• Audit and Analysis: Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes and suggest corrective and preventive actions.
• Emergency Response: Conduct emergency drills and carry out gap analysis for continual improvement, ensuring compliance with government regulations to provide a safe working environment.

• Degree and Experience: BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Environment, or Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in EHS Production & Projects.
• Certifications: Internationally recognized certifications.

Preferred Skills:

• EHS Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in EHS production and projects with internationally recognized certifications.
• Regulatory Compliance: Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, familiarity with national and international EHS regulations.
• Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis: Proficiency in conducting HAZOP, JSA, FMEA, and safety audits.
• Incident Investigation: Skilled in conducting thorough investigations using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, or Taproot.
• Training and Safety Culture: Ability to develop and implement training programs and promote a safety culture within the organization.
• Emergency Response: Knowledge of emergency response and crisis management procedures.
